Why a Scientific Format?
The scientific format may seem confusing for the beginning science writer due to its rigid structure which is so different from writing in the humanities. One reason for using this format is that it is a means of efficiently communicating scientific findings to the broad community of scientists in a uniform manner. Another reason, perhaps more important than the first, is that this format allows the paper to be read at several different levels. For example, many people skim Titles to find out what information is available on a subject. Others may read only titles and Abstracts. Those wanting to go deeper may look at the Tables and Figures in the Results, and so on. The take home point here is that the scientific format helps to insure that at whatever level a person reads your paper (beyond title skimming), they will likely get the key results and conclusions.

What is Nutrition Journal?
Nutrition Journal is an open access, peer-reviewed, online journal that considers manuscripts within the field of human nutrition. Animal studies are not published.
Nutrition Journal aims to encourage scientists and physicians of all fields to publish results that challenge current models, tenets or dogmas. The journal invites scientists and physicians to submit work that illustrates how commonly used methods and techniques are unsuitable for studying a particular phenomenon. Nutrition Journal strongly promotes and invites the publication of clinical trials that fall short of demonstrating an improvement over current treatments. The aim of the journal is to provide scientists and physicians with responsible and balanced information in order to improve experimental designs and clinical decisions.
With the advent of the Internet, has dawned a new way to exchange information and to publish biomedical journals. BioMed Central has been a pioneer in online publishing with Nutrition Journal being one of its many journals. Publication in Nutrition Journal offers many advantages over traditional paper publications; the journal offers free access to its articles; high quality and rapid peer-review; immediate publication; and most importantly, universal access to its content from virtually any place in the world.

Nutrition Journal considers the following types of articles:
- Research – reports of data from original research.
- Case reports – reports of clinical cases that can be educational, describe a diagnostic or therapeutic dilemma, suggest an association, or present an important adverse reaction.
- Reviews – comprehensive, authoritative descriptions of any subject within the scope of Nutrition Journal; these articles are usually written by opinion leaders who have been invited by the board.

Jurnal Ekonomi Rakyat (JER) Melalui situs www.ekonomirakyat.org diterbitkan sebagai media penyebarluasan karya tulis dan tulisan ilmiah dari hasil kajian tentang perekonomian rakyat Indonesia. The library is an integral part of a project being developed by FAPESP – Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo, in partnership with BIREME – the Latin American and Caribbean Center on Health Sciences Information. Since 2002, the Project is also supported by CNPq – Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico.
The Project envisages the development of a common methodology for the preparation, storage, dissemination and evaluation of scientific literature in electronic format.
As the project develops, new journal titles are being added in the library collection.
This is the home page of SciELO Brasil Site.
SciELO site is an integral part of the FAPESP/BIREME/CNPq Project and it is an application of the methodology being developed by the project, particularly the Internet Interface module.
The site will be constantly updated both in form and content, according to the project’s advancements.

In academic publishing, a scientific journal is a periodical publication intended to further the progress of science, usually by reporting new research. Most journals are highly specialized, although some of the oldest journals such as Nature publish articles and scientific papers across a wide range of scientific fields. Scientific journals contain articles that have been peer-reviewed, in an attempt to ensure that articles meet the journal’s standards of quality, and scientific validity. Although scientific journals are superficially similar to professional magazines, they are actually quite different. Issues of a scientific journal are rarely read casually, as one would read a magazine. The publication of the results of research is an essential part of the scientific method; they generally must supply enough details of an experiment that an independent researcher could repeat the experiment to verify the results. Each such journal article becomes part of the permanent scientific record.
The history of scientific journals dates from 1665, when the French Journal des sçavans and the English Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society first began systematically publishing research results. Over a thousand, mostly ephemeral, were founded in the 18th century, and the number has increased rapidly after that. (D. A. Kronick, “History of Scientific and Technical Periodicals,” 2nd ed. These articles are used both in research, and in graduate education. Many classes are partially devoted to the explication of classic articles, and seminar classes usually consist of the presentation by each student of a classic or current paper. In a scientific research group or academic department it is usual for the content of current scientific journals to be discussed in journal clubs.
The standards that a journal uses to determine publication can vary widely. Some journals, such as Nature, Science, PNAS or Physical Review Letters, will not publish an article unless they believe that it marks a fundamental breakthrough in its field, and hence will reject papers which contain good work that does not meet this criterion. In many fields, an informal hierarchy of scientific journals exists; the most prestigious journal in a field tends to be the most selective in terms of the articles it will select for publication. It is also common for journals to have a regional focus, specializing in publishing papers from a particular country or other geographic region.
Articles tend to be highly technical, representing the latest theoretical research and experimental results in the field of science covered by the journal. They are often incomprehensible to anyone except for researchers in the field and advanced students. In some subjects this is inevitable given the nature of the content.

Google sekarang bukan cuma Search Engine Aja. Tapi google bisa juga buat mesin penterjemah. Salah satu bahasa yang bisa diterjemahin pake Google Translator yaitu dari bahasa Arab ke Inggris dan sebaliknya. Jadi buat temen-temen yang pengen bisa nerjemahin bahasa Arab kebahasa Inggris jadi lebih mudah. Selain itu, tampilannya juga sangat simpel.
